Reached the beginning of the Extraterrestrial Highway a couple of hours into today’s ride

Either a lot of tourists have already been this route or the Aliens attempted to camouflage the highway sign with stickers and magnets?

The next sign made me think hard!

gas

The challenge was the last gas station on my route was at least 50 miles back – good thing I topped off there but was dealing with a strong headwind.

Came across the Alien Research Center along the route

Faced with the difficult decision of either taking this opportunity to see what the bike will do or conserve fuel and make it to the next gas station

The only business open along the entire stretch of highway is the LITTLE A’LE’INN

Oasis along the way offering food, drink and souvenirs.  The gas station next door closed down years ago.

Bike made it to gas in Tonopah although must have been close to being on fumes,
